Whispers

michael and Spider licensed Hanuman, The Monkey God, from their Deities album to Touchstone Pictures (also known as Touchstone Films) which used the track in the film "Step Up 2 The Streets", released Valentines Day, 2008.

Step Up 2 the Streets is the sequel to 2006's sleeper hit Step Up. It's the story of a rebellious street dancer named Andie, part of Baltimore's most intimidating dance crew, the 410, who is given a chance to attend the prestigious Maryland School of the Arts, the same school that Channing Tatum's character (Tyler Gage) went to in the first movie. She finds it difficult to fit into her new school life while keeping her friends from the 410. Determined to prove her skills, she assembles an eclectic crew of classmates that includes Chase (Robert Hoffman), the schools best dancer, to compete against the 410 in the premier underground dance battle in Baltimore, The Streets.

The much anticipated release of "Iridescent Garden," (Michael and Spider's first new music CD release since 2005) is now released by Lavender Records, and features music inspired by vintage exotica, but with an edgy, modern alternative twist. Songs from Iridescent Garden are available on itunes here.

Aladdin Sane is a song by David Bowie, the title track from his 1973 album Aladdin Sane. The name of the album is a pun on "A Lad Insane". Taking a great song and making it better is the hallmark of musical genius, which Michael and Spider prove with their rendition of this Bowie classic from their upcoming album "Diamonds". Aladdin Sane is available on CD Babyfor download. Click here.

Big Brother is a song written by David Bowie in 1973 and intended for his never-produced musical based on George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four. In 1974 it was released on the album Diamond Dogs. Using their amazing craft and talent, Michael and Spider once again demonstrate their abilities to take a great song to even greater heights with their version of "Big Brother" from their upcoming album "Diamonds".
